Fields on Flowers
Branding
The logo as per the requirement of the assignment was designed from the start to be versatile. In order to meet this objective, a unifying design element was chosen which is the calligraphic component (FF). So, to further the goal, the decision was to made to create three different designs for the logo with varying levels of complexity. The most complex design is the calligraphic component placed in an elongated planter surrounded by plants in a shape which mimics a roofed building. The second most complex design has many of the elements removed leaving two sets of roses in a spiral pattern flanking the calligraphic component. The least complex design has all elements removed with the exception of the calligraphic component. The basis of the varying design complexities was to account for the differing sized items where the logo would be used.
